Such nondescript body work. It looks like a Fusion. I think the new taillights are an improvement.

It looks like new F-type inspired tail lights to establish a familial look,
It is actually an XF-S, which has long had the option of the “Black pack” that deletes the chrome window trim, vents, grille shell, and such, for gloss black, to look sporty-er. The window trim is all still the same shape. A 2014 XF-S black-pack on polar white would look the same, except the tail and headlight revisions, and the front fascia details.
This is a very minor, and understandably quiet facelift/refresh, nowhere near a re-design.

That’s surprising, it was all over Oppo and Jalopnik when it was announced.
I love the redesign personally. EveryCar my fucking ass.
